Job Description

Company descriptionWe are a small home renovation and design company working locally on large and small renovations.Job descriptionAre you looking for a career in trade work We are hiring individuals with or without experience in construction. We work on a wide range of design and renovation projects.This job involves:

  • demolition! everyone loves demo day
  • assisting in full renovations
  • baseboard and casing installation
  • light framing and drywall preparation
  • occasionally lifting heavy objects/tools
  • hardwood and LVT flooring installation experience is an asset
  • tile prep and installation also an asset
A few specific tasks you will be doing on the job on a regular basis includes but is not limited to:
  • hanging new interior doors
  • installing bathroom and kitchen cabinets
  • repairing/replacing closet bi-folds
  • door lock replacement
  • installing bathroom accessories (towel racks, mirrors, etc.)
  • minor exterior work - light landscaping
Requirements:
  • a valid drivers licence and able to meet at the job site if needed
  • a clean drivers abstract to drive company vehicle if required
  • basic hand tools - large tools are provided
Previous experience in renovation work from small projects to whole home renovations is great, but we are also willing to train for duties required.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $18.00-$25.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
COVID-19 considerations:Masks when working in client homes, sanitizing station. Maintaining distance from homeowners when possible.Experience:
  • construction: 2 years (preferred)

  • Drivers Licence (required)
