Letter of AuthorityDesired qualifications:Bachelor of Education DegreeExperience engaging students outside of the classroomExperience teaching in NunavutPlanning Skills (lesson, theme, unit, year)Demonstrate ability to collaborate and contribute to school teamExperience and / or training with current assessment methodsEvidence of differentiated instruction and inclusive practicesExperience and / or training in classroom management practices and the development of positive learning environments (eg. Restitution, Tribes, Positive Effective Behavior Supports, etc.)Evidence of training and / or experience in an area of Balanced LiteracyEvidence / experience buidling positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents and stakeholdersPlease note: Subsidized housing is not available.The salary for an Aboriginal Language Certificate holder ranges from $64,990 prorated/annum. to $78,438 prorated/annum.
