In joining Kingspan you become an important part of a growing organization with a reputation for innovative design and use of technology, technical expertise, product quality, service excellence, and dedication to sustainability.Ready to be part of our teamWe are looking for a Divisional Projects Engineer for our Langley, BCSalary Range $80,000 - $105,000/ year.Summary: To deliver robust and compliant process improvements and lead engineering projects throughout the insulated panel division.Essential Duties:- Project Manage Engineering projects from conception, through specification design phase, installation, commissioning and trials whilst managing multi-discipline teams is essential.- Support, initiate, deploy and sign off process improvement and efficiency improvement modifications to manufacturing systems at all Insulated panel sites.- Carry out design and testing tasks on project proposals.- Carry out specific engineering tasks delegated to him by the Divisional Engineering Director as appropriate.- Lead and support both minor and major projects on our manufacturing lines.- Produce engineering design and project support deliverables in line with Kingspan engineering standards.- Recommend and support value added improvement initiatives where appropriate.- Maintain and develop relationships with key internal and external customers and facilitate liaison with management/design/operations staff.- Attend training to develop relevant self-knowledge and technical skills.- To support the local sites manufacturing process by being proactive on the correction and modification of reoccurring machine processing faults.Education/Experience:- Significant and demonstrated experience in mechanical engineering.- Demonstrated experience managing manufacturing engineering projects through full life cycle.- Ability to read, analyze, interpret and generate 2Damp; 3D engineering drawings.Other Skills and Requirements:- Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Power Point) and Outlook.- High level of interpersonal skills.- Very hands on with excellent organizational, planning and time management skills.- Ability to use judgment and make decisions in ambiguous and complex situations.- Excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills.- Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.Physical Demands:- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
