Position: Maintenance MillwrightLocation: Langley, BC, CanadaDuration: Full-TimeSalary: DOEPOSITION OVERVIEW:As a Maintenance Millwright on the team, your primary responsibilities will include examination, troubleshooting, replacement/repair of a wide variety of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components. In addition, you will provide technical support to the production team during runtime hours to ensure optimal functionality of all production equipment within the facility. Utilizing the internal asset management system, your daily downtime routine will include preventative, corrective and facility maintenance. Additional tasks/duties maybe required to meet operational demands.Key Requirements:Must be available to work Weekends and Overtime as neededFast paced working environmentHigh Emphasis on Team WorkContinuous Improvement MindsetManufacturing Equipment TroubleshootingPreventative MaintenanceCorrective MaintenanceFacility (Building) MaintenanceFabrication/Welding/MachiningPrevious Food Manufacturing Experience An AssetElectrical Knowledge An AssetJob Responsibilities:Read equipment manuals and blueprints to successfully complete installations, troubleshooting and repairsInstall, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsInspect and examine equipment to identify irregularities and malfunctionsAdjust equipment and repair/replace defective componentsOperate tools such as lathes and milling machines to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of equipmentAssemble equipment prior to installation using hand/power tools and welding equipmentParticipate in continuous improvement projects to optimize equipment safety, efficiency and reliabilityComplete Work Orders according to PM and CM schedulesComply with all applicable legislative and Bakery food safety, health and safety and environmental policies and proceduresEnsure that work area is clean of debris and hazards at all timesWork in a safe manner in accordance with provincial and internal LOTO policyPerform other related duties as assigned or required
