Job Description

Inside Sales Professional (Fence / Outdoor Living Products)Master Halco, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fencing and perimeter security products is seeking an Inside Sales Associate in Langley, BC.The Inside Sales Associates work on the phone and at our branch #39;s counter desk to service contractors, distributors, and retailers purchasing fence products. Inside Sales Associate daily expectations include:

  • Discovery conversations with existing customers and prospective customers to identify products and services that Master Halco can provide to grow their business.
  • Calling the current customers, by phone, to generate orders for delivery on scheduled delivery routes and to inform customers of specials and sales promotions.
  • Work as a team with other sales and operations people to hit sales goals and earn bonuses and spiffs.
  • Excellence with phone sales, computer entry, and customer-facing engagement
Desired sales experience or applicable product knowledge:
  • Building materials: metals, woods, plastics, hardware
  • Do-It-Yourself retail
  • Construction
  • Mechanical/Electrical

  • High School graduate or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication skills (verbalamp; written).
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS applications.
  • 6-12 months of sales experience, preferably in building products or DIY.
