Job Description

BM amp;M is looking for a Journeyman Fabricator to join our team!Pay is $41.72/hr.Work You’ll Do:

  • Fabricate sub-assemblies and assemblies such as: Box Frames, Bases, Bottom Pans, Top Covers, and items of 16 gage and heavier, etc., in accordance with drawings and other specifications using necessary equipment, tools, jigs and fixtures.
  • Welding process is GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding).
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the requirements of a project.
  • Selecting appropriate materials based on project specifications and quality requirements.
  • Using various tools and equipment such as welding machines, cutting torches, grinders, and shears to cut, punch, and assemble metal parts.
  • Inspecting fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with fabricated components or equipment.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning, inspection, and maintenance.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Red Seal / Journeyman Certification.
  • Minimum 3-years’ experience in a non-structure manufacturing facility.
  • Have experience in working with Mild steel, Stainless steelamp; Aluminum.
  • Operate equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, overhead cranes, drill press, saws.
  • Reading and understanding drawings and follow assembly instructions.
  • Ability to understand oral and written technical instructions.
  • Effective English reading, writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift fifty pounds.
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with integrated ERP systems.
