Job Description

Senior Fabricator / WelderAWC Water Solutions Ltd. specializes in providing integrated water, wastewater treatment plants and many other specialized industrial packaged solutions. We offer clients advanced in-house engineeringamp; design with 3D modeling, piloting, fabrication and machining, in-house control panel shop, and a full range of field services, allowing us to provide turn-key solutions. In our busy industry, we consistently manage a strong and steady backlog of work extending well beyond a year, which ensures a secure and reliable workflow.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and welding, with expertise in working with aluminum and stainless-steel components. As a Senior Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings, fabricating and welding aluminum and stainless-steel components using various shop equipment and tools, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the finished products. In addition, you will provide guidance and support to other team members, maintain a safe and clean working environment, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the fabrication process. Please see our website link for an in-depth look at our facility and shop environment.Duties and responsibilities:· Fabricate and weld components according to specified layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions.· Maintain accurate daily records as required.· Safely operate and use a variety of shop equipment and tools, including forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, rigging, grinders, cutting torches, and other hand tools.· Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications.· Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a high standard of conduct in the shop.· Support quality assurance and quality control activities as required.· Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.· Assist the Fabrication Foreman with duties and responsibilities as needed.· Occasional field site work and associated travel as required· Confined Space work activities – training will be provided· Input weekly timesheets accurately and in a timely manner.· Work independently based on drawings and documentation.· Ensure work is performed efficiently and within schedule requirements.Hourly Wage: $42-$50/hrHours: Full time day shift with overtime opportunities.Location: Central Fraser Valley location close to Exit 58 / 200th St/E, HWY-1.Shop Tour: https://awcwater.com/company-profile#facility-shop-tourRequirements· Education:o High School diploma or equivalento Accredited Trade school or equivalent experience· Experience:o 5+ years relevant fabrication and welding or equivalento 2+ years as an Intermediate fabricator / welder or equivalent· Certifications: CWBamp; ASME (as applicable)BenefitsBenefitsIndustry Leading Compensation Packages: AWC has developed a competitive compensation package for each position that rewards employees for hard work and results.
