As a leading staffing agency in the construction industry, we pride ourselves on providing top-notch talent to our clients and creating long-term employment opportunities for our candidates.As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and equipment. This includes but is not limited to ductwork, roofing, siding, and ventilation systems. You will be working in a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential projects.Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical drawings- Measure and mark sheet metal according to specifications- Cut, shape, and bend metal sheets using hand and power tools- Assemble and install sheet metal products and equipment, including ductwork, roofing, siding, and ventilation systems- Seal joints and seams using solder, welding, and other methods- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment for defects and malfunctions- Maintain a safe and clean work environment- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors as needed- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices as requiredRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience for Journeymen- Previous experience in sheet metal work, preferably in the construction industry- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints- Proficient in using hand and power tools- Knowledge of different types of sheet metal and their uses- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills- Ability to work independently and in a team environment- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions- Valid driver #39;s license and reliable transportationWe Offer:- Competitive salary and benefits package- Opportunities for career growth and development- Supportive and collaborative work environment- Safety training and equipment provided- Full-time, permanent position with potential for overtime and weekend workIf you are a skilled Sheet Metal Worker looking for a new opportunity, we want to hear from you!
