Job Description

Overview: Cascadia Windowsamp; Doors is an innovative, industry-leading manufacturer, that creates beautifully designed fiberglass windows, doors, and cladding support systems. Included in some of the most exciting and award-winning construction projects across North America, Cascadia’s goal is to help revolutionize the energy efficiency of modern buildings and drive the adoption of high-performance building products.The Service Technician is responsible for servicing and adjusting Cascadia’s high-performance windows and doors throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. General List of Responsibilities:

  • Adjust window and door hardware on-site.
  • Replace damaged or defective insulated glass units.
  • Repair and touch-up paint on window and door frames.
  • Document repair and service work.
  • Provide Cascadia’s technical team with feedback from installers and contractors.
  • Travel to project sites, as required.
  • General labour, as required.
Qualifications:
  • Construction experience and knowledge of installation practices for windowsamp; doors.
  • 3 years of window and door installation/glazier experience.
  • European Tiltamp; Turn hardware knowledge is an asset.
  • Valid Passport and Driver’s License.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to deal with clients, homeowners, and contractors.
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Honest, reliable, professional, and a problem solver.
  • Positive attitude and the ability to take direction.
  • Self-motivated and prideful in workmanship.
  • Open to a background check.
