Headquartered in Lunenburg, NS, and with a site in Mirabel, QC, we operate more than 180,000 sq feet of facilities that are focused on composite, metal or hybrid sub-assemblies for major aeronautical players and innovating global solutions.Role DescriptionThis position leads financial support and coordination on complex contracts/programs, supporting the organization with complex financial analysis and reporting requirements. Key duties are leadership of cost variance analysis and reporting, monthly program forecasting activities, EAC’s, cost baselines, tracking annual fiscal plans and monthly updates, maintaining contract budgets, and providing senior oversight of costing and pricing for new business. The individual is an effective business partner to support the various program managers in providing financial support and analysis for planning, forecasting and decision making and overall delivery of financial commitments.In this role, you will:Be responsible for all program financials, including management and review of cost, funding, labor charging, and all forecasting and internal reportingSupport the development of annual operating plans and forecasts as well as monthly quarterly and annual updatesCollaborate with Program Managers to identify and quantify potential Opportunities or Vulnerabilities not in the forecastPerform complex financial analysis in support of ongoing program management (variance, risk, profit and loss, etc) as well as new bids and quotesSupport the monthly business functions of both the program and finance departmentsParticipate in and support meetings and program reviews (PMRs)Develop accurate and timely monthly performance reports for the programsProvide financial support to Program Managers in the preparation and analysis of complex project financial data and other complex contract, project or business related tasks.Develop financial controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting techniques to evaluate contract/program status and ensure compliance with government and customer requirementsMonitor progress of program requirements as well as cost performance against plans to ensure contractual cost obligations are metPrepare complex financial/administrative reports for a variety of internal and external stakeholdersProvide guidance and work leadership to othersYou have:Completed of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field7-10 years of experience performing financial analysis or program control support, preferably in a manufacturing environmentCPA qualifications or working towards a CPA considered an assetWorking knowledge of ERP based accounting systemsDemonstrated skills in conducting variance analysis, cost baselining and other ad hoc business performance analysisBilingualism, written and spoken (French / English) is an assetAn ability to effectively communicate with all levels within organization in a professional mannerExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated analytical skills with high attention to detailStrong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, etc)The ability to work well in a constantly changing, fast-paced environmentBecome known as a dedicated team player, who demonstrates initiative and independenceAt STELIA North America, we know our people are our greatest asset.
