Job Title – Service Line SupervisorDepartment – OperationsReports to – Service Line ManagerJob SummaryThe Service Line Supervisor is primarily responsible for working directly with the District Manager, handling all facility operation of the product line for the district. They will be responsible for receiving, shipping, storing, distributing, inventory, and monitoring the flow of material within the facility. They will also be responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of their assigned facility. All quality checks and inventory movements will be properly documented.Key areas of responsibility
  • Oversee and manage activities in the shop to ensure all specific tasks are performed in accordance with company policies and safety standards
  • Oversee and manage that all required documentation of Liner Hanger Running Tool Build components are documented, uploaded, and distributed accordingly
  • Oversee and manage that all required documentation of Liner Hanger build components are documented, pressure tested, uploaded, and distributed accordingly
  • Oversee and manage that the stab up OD’s, ID’s, Lengths, and drifts or completed accurately and distributed accordingly
  • Manage, train and direct personnel on specific product line, ensuring quality control standards are met
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, and distributed
  • Create requisitions for ordering inventory from Canadian Inventory Control Management within Inventory Management System (Oracle)
  • Manage all inventory movement within IMS (Oracle)
  • Prepare and support equipment for shipping or pick up by field operations
  • Deliver and pick up parts and materials
  • Perform weekly total inventory counts and regular audit counts, as required
  • Manage and Responsible for accurate inventory at facility
  • Manage and Responsible for inventory levels at main facility, and sub districts are acceptable for company volume (workload) based on forecasted jobs
  • Mange and supervise the disassemble tools, wash, paint, rebuild and maintain of tool inventory
  • Ensure all Liner Hanger Running Tools are inspected and documented as per NCS requirements
  • Operate heavy warehouse equipment, and utilize hand/or small power tools
  • Maintain and organize shop
  • Assist as required with the quality control procedures
  • Help to promote safe work practices and higher standards of performance
  • Support and uphold HS&E policies and procedures of NCS and the customer
  • Align individual goals with NCS’s corporate goals, while adhering to the NCS Promise
  • Participate in Personal Development for Success (PDS)
  • Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Technical Diploma or Degree; asset
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent; required
  • 10 to 15 years of comprehensive industry related experience, preferably in well-bore construction or downhole tool operations; required
  • Valid Driver’s license; required
  • Basic Microsoft Office computer skills
  • Ability to work with other teams, and exhibit effective communication
  • Excellent organization skills, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of efficiency & work ethic, specific attention to details
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions with a diverse team
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Ability to move or lift 25lbs – 50lbs
  • Ability to work alone and identify what tasks need to be accomplished
Additional Information
  • Status: Overtime Exempt
  • Employment Classification: Full-time, Regular
  • Work Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, on call 24/7
  • Special Equipment: Truck, Cellphone and Laptop
  • Travel: 10% domestic travel will be required
  • Criminal background check required for all positions
  • Safety sensitive positions will require additional pre-employment testing
