Job Description

MISSIONThe Environmental Test Team leader is responsible for the On Time, On Cost and On Quality qualification and acceptance environmental testing of the products manufactured in ADS Barajas Plant.MAIN ACTIVITIES:

  • Management and coordination of EVT team workload and resources allocation.
  • Supports and contributes to the definition, harmonization and implementation of standard Airbus processes and OES implementation in Barajas Plant, coordinating the processes led from TOMSC EVT area.
  • Contributes to the preparation of technical and financial Spacecraft Production proposals by providing the environmental test cost estimation and implementation plans in coordination with the TOMS Proposals Team.
  • Reports to HO AIT & EVT Airbus Barajas
  • Process & activities coordination and harmonization with others Airbus Barajas Spacecraft Production Areas
  • EVT Improvement plans implementation.
  • Define and foster competences for current and future activities and ensure efficiency through relevant trainings and further development of skills, tools, infrastructure, technologies and new processes among EVT team.
  • Management of Barajas Plant EVT laboratories.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND KOWLEDGE
  • Educational Background: Engineer
  • Technical knowledge in environmental test activities and processes.
  • Change management experience
  • Experience in cost, planning, and resources management.
  • Experience in dealing with the Customer and Customer satisfaction mindset.
  • Leadership skills, team management experience, and capability to work in close cooperation with other teams.
  • Analysis and decision making capabilities in multidisciplinary and complex context.
  • Quality-oriented, improvement and innovative mind-set, team spirit and good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Quality standards.
  • Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English.
  • Capable to work autonomously and proactively with responsibility and integrity.
  • Capable to work in an organized and ordered manner complying with the Company Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality standards.
