Staff housing is available, so your dream of living in the mountains is part of your adventure at Manning Park Resort.Manning Park Resort (MPR) is looking for a dynamic and creative thinking Food and Beverage Manager to oversee all aspects of their restaurant and catering operations. Working and playing in one of the crown jewels in BC’s provincial park system, the F&B Manager will be a motivational and experienced leader able to develop MPR’s F&B team to its fullest. The successful candidate has enthusiasm for the experience that Manning Park Resort offers - healthy recreation in a family-friendly resort atmosphere, set in a breath-taking natural, outdoor environment. This is a full-time, year round position.General Responsibilities:Reporting to the General Manager, the F&B Manager is an individual willing to be a hands-on leader with a critical eye and the desire to reach new heights in helping set the course for MPR’s growing year-round business. This individual will understand the balance between assembling supportive and productive teams, striving to increase guest and staff satisfaction levels and operating financially successful F&B and catering outlets.Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Oversee all F&B outlets and events to ensure the highest levels of service and guest satisfaction are provided
  • Work with the F&B team to ensure all operational procedures and standards are followed
  • Collaborate with MPR’s Chef with seasonal and special event menu development, implementation and promotions
  • Create, update and maintain all F&B training programs as necessary
  • Ensure regular, accurate and cost-effective ordering and inventory management
  • Ensure procedures are in place to meet cost control goals
  • Assist with the development of operating budgets and maintain targets for sales, expenses and profitability
  • Recruitment, with assistance from the HR team, and the ongoing development of the F&B team
  • Work with provincial agents and authorities to ensure compliance with all F&B operations
  • Possess competent computer skills (Word, Excel, POS and other systems as required)
  • Provide a healthy, safe and supportive working environment for MPR’s F&B team
  • Participate as an active member of the MPR Leadership Team
