Job Description

Manning Park Resort is a year-round resort located between Hope and Princeton, BC. If you are ready to leave the hustle and bustle of city life, and enjoy outdoor fun and adventure, this is a great place to work. Staff housing is available, so your dream of living in the mountains is part of your adventure at Manning Park Resort.We are presently searching for our next talented team member as a Park Operator to join our Park Operations team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)

  • Clean and maintain parks facilities according to BC Parks standards (including but not limited to pit toilets, garbage bins, campsites, picnic tables, firepits, wash houses, and shower stalls).
  • Emptying garbage and recycling bins.
  • Repair/paint structures and facilities as needed.
  • Educated campers on BC Parks rules & report incidents and occurrences efficiently to lead hand, supervisor, or manager.
  • Ensure elevated levels of customer service.
  • Respond to campers inquiries and provide assistance when able.
  • Represent BC Parks and Manning Park Resort in a professional manner.
  • Maintain communication with other staff members.
  • Equipment inspection and maintenance.
  • Daily completion of logbooks.
  • Other tasks as required.
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Available to work flexible hours. 32-40hrs per week.
  • Shift times are 7:00-15:30. To a max of 5 days on and 2 days off.
  • Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Clean drivers abstract and criminal record check.
  • Minimum of a Class 5 and N drivers license required.
  • Experience with landscaping and cleaning an asset.
  • Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment as both an individual and team player.
  • Value safe working practices.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English.
This is a Seasonal Position so you must be able to commit to the role for the full Summer Season (May-October)Benefits:
