Job Description

Manning Park Resort is a year round resort located between Hope and Princeton, BC. If you are ready to leave the hustle and bustle of city life, and enjoy outdoor fun and adventure, this is a great place to work. Staff housing is available, so your dream of living in the mountains is part of your adventure at Manning Park Resort.We are presently searching for our next great Nordic Team members. If you can provide our guests with an amazing winter experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our team, we want to hear from you.*Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)*

  • Plan and carry out snowshoe & Nordic Ski tours and guided activities for Individuals and groups
  • Assemble supplies and equipment for Snowshoe & Nordic Ski tours and guided activities.
  • Monitor Nordic activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required.
  • Patrol Nordic Ski trails to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required.
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations and ensure that all Covid-19 safety plans and protocols are followed.
  • Manage Nordic sports equipment.
  • Maintain and carry out repairs on Nordic sports equipment.
  • Coordinate and host Nordic events.
*Job Requirements / Qualifications: *
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
*Strong customer service skills
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must be approachable, dependable and a strong team player
  • Good physical condition; Able to work in outdoor, adverse weather conditions and perform manual labor
  • Required to obtain CANSI Certification during the working season
