Job Description

Manning Park Resort is a year round resort located between Hope and Princeton, BC. We are presently searching for our next great team member as a RECRUITER, to join our HR team. This is a work from home opportunity, collaborating with the People + Culture Manager and HR Coordinator. If you can help us find great employees and make connections with employment sourcing channels throughout Canada, we want to hear from you. Ideally, a great candidate is flexible with their time and lives in the Vancouver or Fraser Valley region, and can work 25 hours per week during peak hiring periods (March-May and Sept-Nov) and perhaps less hours during slower hiring periods. The opportunity exists, for the right person, to move into a full time role.Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)

  • Undertake all networking and sourcing for potential talent
  • Work with schools and government programs to identify student recruiting opportunities
  • Interview applicants and recruited individuals
  • Extend job offers
  • Attend in-person job fairs in the lower mainland
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
  • This individual is a skilled communicator who can represent Manning Park Resort in the community
  • Comfort level with public speaking and conducting recruiting cold calls
  • Understanding of current labour market conditions and recruiting practices
  • Work with the P+C Manager on seasonal hiring requirements
  • Create employment offers for new employees and obtain signed employment agreements
