Job Description

Manning Park Resort is a year round resort located between Hope and Princeton, BC. Staff housing is available, so your dream of living in the mountains is part of your adventure at Manning Park Resort.We are presently searching for our next great team member as a Snow Groomer to join our Alpine Operations team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)

  • Safe and efficient operation of snow grooming equipment including a variety of snow cats and attachments, grading equipment and other heavy machinery.
  • Ensure grooming provides an excellent experience for guests
  • Maintain and operate equipment according to company standards
  • Keep workspace clean and organized
  • Assist in maintaining and cleaning of all snow grooming equipment and related machinery
  • Identify and report all maintenance requirements in a timely fashion
  • Assist in repairs and scheduled maintenance of equipment as required
  • Identify any maintenance or operational issues on runs and report to management
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Previous equipment operating experience
  • Previous experience with snow grooming machinery an asset
  • To be able to follow directions while unsupervised
  • Ability to work late and overnight
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A valid class 5 or equivalent driver’s license
  • OFA Lv3 is considered an asset.
  • Ski/Snowboard experience an asset
  • Ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, shoveling, and moving over 40lbs
  • Chainsaw experience an asset
  • Grooming being weather dependent, Flexibility regarding shifts & schedule
This is a Seasonal Position so you must be able to commit to the role for the full Winter Season (November-April).Benefits:
