Job Description

Manning Park Resort is a year round resort located between Hope and Princeton, BC. If you are ready to leave the hustle and bustle of city life, and enjoy outdoor fun and adventure, this is a great place to work. Staff housing is available, so your dream of living in the mountains is part of your adventure at Manning Park Resort.We are presently searching for our next great team member as a Snow School Instructor to join our Snow School team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)

  • Instruct and coach guests of all ages and abilities to ski or snowboard within your instructors certification level in a group or one-on-one setting.
  • Properly assess students of their ability and place them in the appropriate groups
  • Set up and take down lesson equipment
  • Set up and take down crowd control measures and snow school signage.
  • Assist Ski School Supervisor in lesson planning
  • Adherence and teaching of the Alpine Responsibility Code
  • General on hill tasks and maintenance as required
  • Perform duties of AGS agents as required.
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Minimum level 1 or higher of Canadian recognized Ski or Snowboard Instructor Certification or equivalent.
  • Dual certification is an asset.
  • Will be required to work Weekends & Holidays.
  • A minimum of intermediate ski/snowboard ability
  • Knowledge of the Alpine Responsibility Code
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must be approachable, dependable and a strong team player
  • Previous knowledge of the ski hill is an asset
This is a Seasonal Position so you must be able to commit to the role for the full Winter Season (November-April). As a seasonal team member you may be presented with opportunities to cross train and support in other departments to meet seasonal demands.Benefits:
