We're looking for a Cybersecurity Incident Response Analyst to be a part of our 24x7 operational SOC and help us defend Merck.Your roleAnalyzing, triaging, and remediating security incidents within defined SLAs.Writing and delivering detailed investigation and analysis reports while maintaining technical documentation.Become your best by improving your skills.Participate in both small agile focused projects, as well as large enterprise-wide projects.Support 24/7 security coverage across entire organization (Work in shifts)Who you areBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field of study or any equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.Advance analysis of email headers and content of emails.Proven knowledge of computer networks and common protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, FTP, SSH, SSL/TLS, HTTP, and etc.Ability to analyze endpoint, network, and application logs.Experience with leveraging various sources to identify and analyze malware samples.Critical/analytical Thinking are key areas.Strong problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in English.Teamwork. You will be working with our team in Bratislava, and our global teams.Nice to haveExperience with SIEM and SOAR Solutions.Ability to analyze obfuscated code.Knowledge in Cloud Security (Azure, AWS, MS Office 365).Experience with EDR Solutions.One or more certifications (GIAC DFIR certifications, OSCP, CEH).What we offer: With us, there are always opportunities to break new ground.
