Job Description

Alexander James & Co. Open Position: Customer Service Manager & Administrative AssistantOur small but growing company is responsible for the sales and marketing activities for a number of luxury and premium wines and spirits. Based in downtown Miami, we work with various Cruise Lines,Airports, and other markets in the Caribbean.We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working, self motivated and dedicated individual to join our team and manage the customer service & related administrative functions.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Customer Service – processing and purchase orders, coordinating pick-up, transportation, ensuring smooth process.
  • Administrative support to management
  • Daily telephone interaction with suppliers and customers
  • Receiving and shipping of samples
  • Monitoring inventory in third party warehouses
  • Compiling shipment & Depletion reports
  • Assist with Placement Grid (cruise lines & retail), with corresponding pricing structures and contract periods. Along with domestic SRPs and DF SRPs and other relevant intel.
  • Creating/processing changes to various Word, Excel & Power Point documents
  • Research new customer/supplier/product information as requested
  • Communicate with AJC team all changes in brands, new brands, all updates
  • Order & data entry, as required

  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines, time constraints and work under pressure
  • Self starter and ability to take initiative
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy

  • Ability to research and gather information through the internet
  • Experience in export documentation for orders is an asset but not required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Work and PowerPoint are a necessity

  • Annual salary: $52,000-55,000
