Job Description

L3 Technologies MAS, located in Mirabel (QC), Ottawa (ON) and Enfield (NS) is a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies, Inc.Location: Mirabel (QC), Ottawa (ON) or Enfield (NE)As Lead, IM/IT Implementation project Management at L3 MAS you will:An active member of the Software Engineering department at L3Harris MAS.The Lead, IM/IT Implementation Project Management, will be primarily responsible for the planning and the execution of IM/IT projects. It includes enabling systems like Product Life Cycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP), Maintenance Management Systems (MMS) and other IM/IT systems. Acting as a channel between solution architecture, technical architecture and the business, he or she will be responsible for managing client (internal and external) projects. You will manage a team of implementation specialists and ensure all of the client’s needs are met throughout the implementation process.Essential Functions:Being part of the software engineering team and working in close collaboration with the Business Development (BD) and the Information Technology (IT) team, you will participate in the visioning, planning the deployment and operations of IM/IT enterprise systems supporting the company and his clients. The Information Management/Information Technology (IMIT) Project Manager is responsible to:

  • Analyzing and understanding clients IM/IT requirements;
  • Work with clients and stakeholders to draft target state of IM/IT solutions from the Project Management perspective;
  • Defining project scope;
  • Staying on schedule;
  • Planning a project’s cost and sticking to a budget;
  • Managing project resources (including teams and workers);
  • Documenting the progress of the project;
  • Communicating with stakeholders;
  • Assessing risks;
  • Troubleshooting;
  • Leading quality assurance;
  • Creating executive-level presentations;
  • Planning and coordinating the deployment of IM/IT solutions, including business change management activities;
  • Facilitating conversations with key business system owners and IT with minimal oversight;
  • Analyzing, recommending, implementing plans for improvement and optimization of performance, reliability and availability of IM/IT systems and interfaces.
