Job Description

Material Planning, Logistics and Inventory Management SpecialistPermanent position | Full-Time | Mirabel (QC)Remote work: 2/3 times per week on averageWhat will you role be

  • Act as IT/Business Liaison responsible for improving business efficiency while meeting business goals and objectives.
  • Plan and lead workshops to collect and document Business needs, facilitate exchanges and interactions between your domains and other domain’s Stakeholders.
  • Provide application & system deep functional and technical expertise in SAP PR2 / S/4HANA core components (MM/PP, APO, EWM) for Master Planning, Work & Material Planning and Inventory Management domains.
  • Interface with the SAP Development team to communicate Business Requirements, Functional and Detailed specifications.
  • Ensure internal IT processes are being followed.
  • Provide process level expertise in the Master Planning, Work & Material Planning and Inventory Management domains for strategic positioning as well alignment between Business and IT.
  • Review existing and create new documents related to the Master Planning, Work & Material Planning and Inventory Management systems environment maturity over time by plotting its current state vs its next phases.
  • Participate in the creation of a multi-year view of Master Planning, Work & Material Planning and Inventory Management systems, their evolution, develop as-is / to-be system map and identify gaps.
  • Act as a key member of the IT functional council design and recommend technical alternatives, systems, and strategies to support projects and business processes in an efficient and sustainable way.
  • Act as lead Transformation Agent on the Master Planning, Work & Material Planning and Inventory Management systems.
  • Participate in a major SAP ERP implementation as a key participant in the Design, Development and validation process of this new Solution
What qualifications are we looking forYou have:
  • A bachelor in Operations & Production Management, Computer Science or similar discipline.
  • More than 10 years of experience in SAP PR2 or S/4HANA systems including SAP core components MM/PP, APO, EWM.
  • An experience with large scale migrations and deployments of new solutions, system migrations.
  • In-depth process knowledge of the Aerospace and defense industry, specifically in the Master Planning, Work & Material Planning and Inventory Management domains.
  • An experience with Business process definition and re-engineering.
