The partnership markets, manufactures and supports the A220 Family worldwide.Description of the jobAs a member of the A220 Propulsion Engineering Group, you will be the focal for Rig, Ground and Flight Testing activities. This position is responsible for the planning and technical execution of system integration testing within the team's area of responsibilities, namely for the Engine, Nacelle, APU, FIDEX, Fuel and Fuel tank inerting systems on the A220.In your role, you will:Represent the propulsion engineering team when interfacing with Pilots, Experimental & Flight Test Engineers.Coordinate & Plan propulsion activities for development and certification testsCreate Requests For Test (RFT)Write Restrictions & Special Instructions (RSI)Review drawings for development parts & InstrumentationEnsure configuration Conformity for the given vehicle to support product representiveness, maintainability and supplier simulation/model accuracyCreate Test Definition Sheets (TDS) / ProceduresSupport Safety of Flight (SoF) data, Test Readiness Reviews, test debriefingsExecute Test Points on bench/rig testConduct Troubleshooting, and record Problem Reports (PR)Post-process results using in-house toolsWrite Test ReportsMentor other team members on using the rig/bench featuresSupport identification and implementation of testing best practices and toolsAs our ideal candidate,You possess at least a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a minimum of ten (10) years pertinent experienceYou have a broad knowledge of CAR 525 / FAR 25 related to one or more of the systems aboveYou have prior experience developing test plans and procedures from set of requirementsYou have prior experience with Simulators/models/bench rigs (asset)You have an in depth knowledge of instrumentation (asset)You are a self-motivated team player and able to work with limited supervisionYou possess good interpersonal skills in order to interface with different groups and suppliers as well as good written and oral communication skills in English and French.Please upload your resume in French and English.As a leader in our field, Airbus Canada Limited Partnership provides relocation assistance for qualified positions and a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.Airbus provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetics, pregnancy, marital status, veteran status or other legally protected status.
