Integration Services within Common Platform Engineering is responsible for developing and maintaining technology services used by development teams across Services, Markets, Banking and Functions Technology within Citi. These reusable services allow development teams to acceleration of their deliveries as they focus on their business deliverable whilst the ancillary services that they need are provided for them.We are looking for a Software Engineer to be a member of the team to building out and maintaining our Kafka as a Service platform.This role will involve solving technical and operational challenges to improve and streamline our onboarding process for Kafka topics and Kafka Connect. You will have the opportunity to work on a full stack solution building out 12 factor services to support self service developer tooling to create topics, configure connectors and automatically promote through test and production.Experience of Site Reliability Engineering will be of advantageous as we improve, streamline and facilitate the provision of performance metrics of our wider platform to our tenants.Your solutions will be leveraged by tens of thousands of developers across Citi supporting applications used by hundreds of thousands of internal and client users.Responsibilities:
