Job Description

Blyth Academy is searching for a qualified candidate to fill an administrative position at the Blyth Academy, Mississauga campus. The Campus Administrator is responsible for supporting the smooth running of the campus, working closely with the Principal and Guidance, and contributing to a positive and caring community.Responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact for students, parents, and the community answering phones, following up on emails, and greeting in-person visitors
  • Monitoring attendance and notifying families of late or absent students
  • Entering and maintaining accurate information in various databases and Student Information Systems
  • Assisting in planning school events such as Parent Teacher Interviews, Open Houses, and Graduation
  • Taking inventory of office/classroom supplies and placing orders as needed
  • Maintaining campus budget
  • Campus HR administration including issuing teacher contracts, and submitting payroll spreadsheets to Head Office
  • Supporting with the Admissions process by gathering information from interested families and updating admissions database (Salesforce)
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with care
Requirements
  • College diploma or University degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and ability to quickly learn Student Information System/Databases (experience with EDSBY, Trevlac is an asset)
  • Highly organized multitasker with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and strong attention to detail
  • Empathetic and dedicated to students’ well-being
  • Openness to diversity and willingness to effectively manage and foster a positive environment within a caring community
  • Goal and Service Oriented – actively looks for ways to assist and implement new ideas
