There is an opening for a professional, highly-skilled Executive Assistant. This role is in the Service industry for a non for profit organization. Start Date: January 2024 Working Hours: Monday - Friday (37.5/hours a week) Duration: 18 month contract Hybrid: Yes Location: Hamilton, ON Salary: 55,000 - 60,000 Job Responsibilities: 1. Calendar Management: Efficiently manage executives #39; calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments to optimize their time. 2. Travel Arrangements: Arrange complex travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, and transportation, ensuring a smooth and seamless travel experience for executives. 3. Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, screening and prioritizing communications on behalf of the executives. 4. Document Preparation: Draft and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, and other documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 5. Meeting Coordination: Organize and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action items. 6. Office Management: Oversee general office operations, including ordering supplies, maintaining office equipment, and liaising with building management. 7. Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times. - Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Experience with Board Governance is an asset - Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - Excellent and creative written and verbal communication skills - Strong organization and administrative skills; capable of operating independently with minimal direction; easily adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of community engagement and service - Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and engagement skills - Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Two to five years #39; prior experience in supporting a senior leadership executive or team This position offers an opportunity to directly support senior management in a dynamic organization!
