Job Description

Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse.Duties

  • Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers
  • Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance on the forklift
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movement
  • Assist with order picking using a variety of equipment such as clamp trucks and order pickers
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers
  • Familiarity with warehouse distribution systems
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for inventory tracking
  • Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
