Job Description

Job DescriptionThe Industrial Millwright is responsible for maintaining and improving the plant facilities, machinery and control systems and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees by performing such work as preventative, corrective and redesign maintenance and new equipment installations.Duties:

  • Repair critical equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and ensure optimum plant operation by protecting the daily production and maintenance schedules and achieving daily planned work targets.
  • Apply technical knowledge and skills to the repair and perform maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment such as CNC controlled punching shearing and material transportation systems, overhead and wall cranes, fluid and air power systems and controls, band saws, welding feeders and power supplies, and roll forming lines.
  • Support spare parts inventory and work order business processes and quality of data collected in the database.
  • Maintain a safe, neat and clean working environment and comply with all legislated and company health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and programs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
