Working under the guidance of the Executive Chef, the Kitchen Assistant will ensure the kitchen is clean, operational, and ready for lunch service. Job Dutiesamp; Responsibilities

• Prepare food items under the guidance of the Executive Chef
• Rotate stock
• Label and preserve food in freezer
• Mop and sweep the kitchen
• Take out garbage and replace garbage bags
• Wash, dry, and put away all dishes and kitchen utensils
• Unload food supplies from delivery trucks
• Cut, peel, and slice ingredients
• Package takeout orders for afternoon shift employees
• Clear and clean tables when necessary
• Refill condiments or other supplies at tables
• Be clean, hygienic and well-presented at all times

Experience, Education and Designations

• Proficient in English
• Food handler training and certification
• Ability to stand on feet for several hours
• 2-3 years of previous kitchen experience
• Customer service experience considered a major asset

• Must have a positive attitude
• Must abide by Healthamp; Safety requirements
• Have the ability to handle themselves well under pressure
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
