Occupational Health and Safety Internal Audit ManagerDate PostedCountryCanadaLocationThe Opportunity:The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Internal Audit Manager is accountable for the development, planning, and delivery of the MLF OHS internal audit program to ensure compliance with all corporate and legislative requirements. The OHS Internal Audit Manager reports directly to the MLF Vice President, Occupational Health and Safety, and conducts audits on health, safety, and ergonomics at all MLF sites with the ongoing execution of MLF’s OHS Strategy to ensure consistent application throughout the organization. This position also provides support to the Senior OHS Team/Regional OHS Managers. The OHS support may include participation in various Senior OHS activities, including providing coaching and support to MLF sites to assist the Regional OHS Managers upon their request. The OHS Internal Audit Manager may also support the Senior OHS Team with safety and wellness initiatives to develop safer, healthier, and more efficient ways of working. To fulfill these objectives the OHS Internal Audit Manager must work effectively with internal stakeholders, focusing on ensuring healthy and safe working conditions and comprehensive emergency response plans. The Senior OHS Team works as a multi-functional team and supports each team member’s roles.
