We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Packaging and Product Labeling Designer to develop compelling packaging and labelling solutions for our consumer electronics products. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, a deep understanding of branding, and extensive experience in ensuring compliance with local and global regulations pertaining to product packaging, translations, and safety.Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop innovative packaging and labelling for a variety of consumer electronics products.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to ensure packaging meets brand standards, product specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Create prototypes and mock-ups to test packaging concepts.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on packaging trends, consumer preferences, and regulatory changes.
• Ensure packaging designs comply with industry regulations and standards, including local and global safety regulations, labelling requirements, and translation needs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design feasibility, regulatory compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Review and approve final production samples before mass production.
• Lead our internal product packaging approval process by proposing and implementing changes and enhancements.
• Maintain organized files and records of all packaging and labelling designs.
• Perform other graphic design duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in packaging and product labelling design, preferably in the consumer electronics industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design software.
• Strong understanding of branding, colour theory, typography, and print production processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and standards for packaging and labelling, including safety and compliance requirements across different markets.
• Experience with managing translations and ensuring multilingual compliance on packaging.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with sustainable packaging practices and materials.
• Knowledge of user-centered design principles.
• Experience with regulatory bodies such as the EU CE Marking, UL, TUV and other international standards organizations.
