The Project Clerk will conduct their activities in accordance with the contractual agreement between the funder and Business Development and Community Services.Summary of Duties:Ø Respond to all telephone calls;Ø Schedule appointments, re-direct calls, provide information related to the services provided in the community;Ø Assist all clients and visitors;Ø Conduct registration sessions, as required;Ø Verify client eligibility in accordance with federal guidelines and current database;Ø Prepare all necessary documents; Ø Assist Supervisor and staff with any administrative needs such as preparation of reports,presentation materials and general correspondence;Ø File and complete photocopying as required;Ø Maintain proper, confidential records management and retrieval system ;Ø Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statistics as directed by the Supervisor;Ø Sort and distribute mail;Ø Prepare outgoing mail;Ø Order and maintain supplies and other resources, as required;Ø Assist with the preparation of financial claims, as required;Ø Complete printing and other requisitions, as required; andØ Other related duties. Qualifications:ØSecondary school diploma including computer courseswith one year related experienceor an equivalent combination of education and experience;ØProficient keyboarding and computer skills which include the use of e-mail, internet, wordprocessing and financial applications;ØAbility to communicate effectively with a customer service focus;ØGood organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload; andØStrong interpersonal and problem solving skills. Location:1225 Dundas Street EastShift:Day Hours: 10-35 Hours per weekWork Year: 12 MonthsNote:This is an externally funded program, dependent on renewal of funding each year, subject to cancellation by funder with two weeks’ notice.
