We continue to build the team and always look for exceptional candidates to join Foodtastic.Real Estate Coordinator Reporting to the VP Real Estate, the Real Estate Coordinator supports the Foodtastic Real Estate department by monitoring and coordinating the flow of real estate requests and assists in managing critical dates and reviewing various real estate documents. The Leasing Coordinator will manage the national real estate portfolio. Support is needed to facilitate new business, renewals, managing critical dates, reporting and notifications.Responsibilities:

  • Track ongoing files and update department trackers on a weekly basis.
  • Manages incoming real estate request for subtenancy notification to landlord partners.
  • Managing incoming real estate request for renewal notices to landlord partners.
  • Responsible for initial document reviews prior to files being submitted to legal.
  • Provide support to real estate team by drafting letters or contracts.
  • Monitors real estate file status to ensure appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Notify team with executed copies have been received and file appropriately.
  • Works with internal technologies and platforms to populate various document sets and track real estate data and update accordingly including but not limited to Leasecake, Monday.com. NetSuites.
  • Obtains and coordinates signature of documents via DocuSign and prepares first drafts of correspondence, notices and various other documents to be reviewed by legal team.
  • Maintains all real estate files (electronic and paper copy)
  • Assists with organization of internal corporate documents and filings; and
  • From time to time, conducts basic legal lease research to support the real estate team.
  • Manage the Real Estate email inbox, address incoming emails accordingly, file and forward to the appropriate teams and or departments.
  • Attending team meetings including renewal meetings, prepare and provide summary to appropriate team members regarding ongoing files.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a real estate position with previous team management experience
  • Strong business and financial acumen to understand/provide context for decisions; ability to challenge and also influence decisions when required.
  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to speak and write clearly and concisely to get messages across that have the desired effect.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and confidentiality.
  • Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders and proactively anticipate their needs.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and analyze deals, and able to review leases and renewal documentation.
  • Perfectly bilingual in both French and English
