Cultivating data-driven planning processes and improving upon monthly and quarterly reporting will be some of your responsibilities as Senior Financial Analyst. The main responsibilities of this Senior Financial Analyst role will include developing rolling forecast processes to ensure resources are leveraged with maximum effectiveness, driving world class strategic and financial planning methods, and building long-range operating plans to support business initiatives. You will deliver variance analysis of bookings, revenues and expenses, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting the outlook models to reflect operational adjustments. Prior experience in coordinating various planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly forecasts and monthly outlooks), while providing strategic analyses and recommendations, will be crucial to the success of this role. Act now and apply today!What you get to do every day- Determine performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities- You will be closely engaged with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans- Oversee monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources- Grasp and define internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending- Accumulate and regulate forecasting reports- Conduct weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P amp; L forecasting - Authorize effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support- Deliver monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required- Merge with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planningamp; Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation and prioritization- Aid Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close processJob Requirements:- Extremely efficient with financial reporting tools- Command of Monthly Financial Reporting- Cost Models experience preferred- Solid understanding of month end closings- Management reporting experience- Budget forecasting experience- Bachelor #39;s Degree in Finance, MBA preferred- Strong presentation skills- 3+ years #39; experience with advanced financial analysis, planning and budget controls required- Aptitude to simplify complex problems and build solutionsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
