Do not miss the opportunity to join an engaging team of people-centric professionals, leaders, problem solvers, entrepreneurs in spirit and status quo-fighters!Address: 2441 Royal Windsor Dr., Mississauga, ON L5J 4C7Salary: $27.37/hourJob SummaryThe Warehouse Operator will be responsible for accurately and quickly servicing a very demanding client base while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards in the industry. This role reports into the DC Coordinator while working a 40-hour work week (Mon-Fri, 2:00pm - 10:00pm)Responsibilities

  • Accurately select and set up orders to ship – Usually same day
  • Loading and unloading trucks using counterbalance
  • Perform daily pre-inspections of mobile equipment
  • Pick and pack orders from warehouse racking
  • Process picked orders and prepare boxes for shipment to clients
  • Build products onto palettes, and prepare the palettes for shipping
  • Work proficiently against productivity and quality targets
  • Communicate stock errors and discrepancies clearly and effectively with team members.
  • Maintain yard and general housekeeping standards.
  • Report safety and security issues to the direct supervisor
  • Follow all Distribution Center best practices and procedures to ensure safety, quality and meet all service objectives.
  • Following established corporate guidelines (SOP’s) for picking, receiving etc.
  • Perform a variety of other tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • Completion of a high-school Diploma (OSSD)
  • Minimum 2-year experience operating Order Pickersamp; Reach Forklifts
  • Must have necessary certifications for forklift (Raymond Reach and/or Counterbalance) and order picker
  • Experience working in warehouse and/or distribution environment is preferred
  • Proven ability supporting/working with RF equipment and remote printers
  • Accurate and detail oriented
  • Skilled in managing competing priorities and problem solving under minimal supervision
  • Ability to be dependable, punctual and proactive to meet deadlines
  • Must be background check approved as per CTPAT policy
  • Flexible to work overtime and flex summer hours if required
  • Must be available and capable of performing full duties of the position on the anticipated start date.
Working ConditionsIncumbent spends most of their time in our Warehouse environment requiring varying degrees of considerable physical labor as an operator. Lifting, pulling and pushing varied amount of products weighing between 5-50lbs. May include ad-hoc functions such as: cycle counts, 5S, etc. Personal safety is affected by dust and traffic caused by other warehouse operators.
