Job Description

Locations: Moncton, Riverview, Rexton, or Petitcodiac (New Brunswick)Refreshingly honest banking. The job: At Advance Savings, the Member Service Supervisor – Local Support is responsible for supervising, and scheduling the activities of the Member Service Representatives and providing effective leadership and coaching to the Local SupportTeam (Contact Centre). The Member Service Supervisor champions the delivery of financial services that contributes to effective member experience, profitability, and fosters business development and retention.What you’ll be doing:

  • Supervises the daily operations of the Local Support Team and directs, coordinates and monitors activities to implement policies, procedures and practices.
  • Supervises, schedules and coordinates the activities of the Member Service Representatives in the delivery of effective financial services; conducting performance reviews; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Analyzes member needs and assists them in utilizing the product or service which best meets those needs by outlining the benefits and alternatives. Refers more complex requests for information and assistance to the appropriate staff.
  • Effectively manage digital and online inquiries, including incoming calls, emails and live-chat.
  • Assists and backs up Member Service Representatives during peak periods or during vacation and staff shortages.

  • Has completed a diploma in a related field or has an equivalent combination of sales and service experience;
  • Has great customer service and business development skills;
  • Has a proven track record in service and sales;
  • Has some supervisory experience;
  • Is outgoing and self-motivated; and,
  • Has great communication and time management skills.
