The community and culture of Kamloops is a major draw for our new employees, and we invite you to experience the beauty of our city and work at Axis Forestry!Job Summary: The Waratah Specialist will primarily be responsible for providing technical support to logging contractors across North America, driving up sales of Axis Forestry Rebel heads, Axis aftermarket parts division, and the Cypress Robotics control system. The role also involves a high level of mentorship as you will be tasked with sharing your knowledge of Waratah products with other Axis team members and our dealer networks. In time, the Waratah Specialist is anticipated to become an expert in Axis Rebel Processors and will play a key role in quality control of Axis Forestry’s processor heads.This is a full time, permanent position based out of our Kamloops, BC, Canada location. Generous wage compensation is available. There is also significant opportunity for career growth.Contract/Part-time/Remote work opportunities may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Location should not be a deterrent in applying if this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you!Suitability: We are looking for someone who has expertise in the full line of Waratah processor heads and their respective computer operating systems. The ideal candidate is already a “go to” person for logging contractors and able to troubleshoot common problems that arise with Waratah processors. You should also be comfortable in troubleshooting issues with waratah computers.Extensive previous experience with Waratah parts, servicing Waratah heads and/or at the Waratah factory level is required.The ideal candidate is energetic, committed to supporting logging contractors, has an outgoing personality and is interested in continuous learning and growth.Responsibilities:

• Provide technical guidance and/or troubleshooting support to logging contractors and processor operators throughout North America via phone, email, Facebook messaging and/or video calls.
• Increase sales of Axis Forestry OEM and aftermarket parts.
• Assess and assist in managing warranty claims.
• Share knowledge and provide mentorship to Axis Parts and Sales team members regarding Waratah processors, processor computers, and/or related components.
• Quality check Rebel Processors and related components at the Axis Forestry manufacturing facility prior to shipping.
• Develop and facilitate training for Axis Forestry Parts Dealer Networks on OEM or aftermarket parts.
• Assist in the development and facilitation of technical training to heavy equipment dealerships on Axis Forestry Rebel Processors.
• Provide expertise to the Axis manufacturing team on tree-processor functionality.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts of Axis manufactured products and processes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
