GrizzlyTrek invest in our people, our relationships and our partners, ensuring ready to work individuals meet job opportunities that create lasting success for them and our business partnersTitle: Maintenance ManagerDepartment: MaintenanceReports to: General ManagerEmployment Type: Full-Time, Mining FacilitySubject Line: Maintenance Manager - Ore Processing FacilityJob Brief: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep operations at our ore processing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all physical resources are available and in optimal condition to support the facility #39;s production goals. This role is crucial in maximizing production efficiency and minimizing operational costs.Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain maintenance procedures.
  • Plan and execute maintenance operations to ensure the facility runs smoothly.
  • Inspect facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Oversee and manage all repair and installation activities.
  • Lead, build, and direct maintenance teams, ensuring effective team collaboration.
  • Monitor equipment inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Control and monitor maintenance budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Redevelop and optimize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Maintain logs and report daily maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and regulations.
  • Work cohesively with the production team to maximize productivity and save costs.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Proven experience as a maintenance manager or in a similar managerial role.
  • Expertise in planning and executing maintenance operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and direct teams.
  • Solid understanding of technical aspects of machinery, equipment, and electrical systems.
  • Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment specific to ore processing.
  • Ability to track and report on maintenance activities and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration, facility management, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Certification as a Maintenance Manager (CMM) is a plus.
  • Must be bilingual in French and English.
