Job Description

SRE EngineerAs an SRE Engineer, you #39;ll be a critical part of our Digital and Data Service department, collaborating with teams in Paris, Bangalore, and Montreal. Your role involves:

  • Automating Cloud Infrastructure: Streamline provisioning and management of our cloud environments.
  • Monitoring Platform Health: Implement robust monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Migrating Legacy Infrastructure: Modernize our IT landscape by transitioning to cloud-native architectures.
  • Optimizing Service Performance: Drive initiatives to enhance reliability, resilience, and overall system performance.

  • Platform Administration: Manage and maintain a suite of DevOps tools, including Git, Jenkins, Jira, Nexus, SonarQube, and XLDeploy.
  • Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the DevOps toolchain.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to provide guidance and support on best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the DevOps pipeline and propose innovative solutions.
  • Azure Integration: Contribute to the integration of DevOps tools and processes with Azure cloud environments.
  • Ensure the smooth operation and availability of critical software factory services and tools.
  • Adhere to strict SLAs in a 24/7 follow-the-sun support model.
  • Maintain security compliance and proactively address incidents.
  • Collaborate with application teams to adopt best CI/CD practices and tool usage.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the platform, including POCs, automation, and monitoring.
  • Share knowledge through documentation, training, and community engagement.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Linux, Bash, Python, Jenkins, Git, and monitoring tools
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • At least 5 years of experience in development or administration of Software Factory tools
  • Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Language Skills:
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in French is a plus.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience with build tools (Maven, MSBuild, npm, etc.), TeamCity, Jira, GitHub Enterprise, XLDeploy, Nexus, JFrog Platform, Artifactory, Sonar, PowerShell, Terraform, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions.
