Maintenance Technician - Jobs in Montréal-Est, QC

Job Description

Reporting to the supervisor, Maintenance, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining the terminal’s equipment to ensure it is operating safely and efficiently at all times. You will have to be familiar with mechanical as well as with their applications to be able to make repairs, as required, based on established standards. You will be called upon to perform various preventive and curative mechanical maintenance work such as: assistance during the commissioning of piping, assembly of bolted joints, diagnosis of problems, replacement of mechanical parts, welding or all other tasks related to industrial mechanics. Finally, you will operate machinery such as; cranes, vacuum trucks or telescopic mast lifting equipment for maintenance purposes.Qualifications

• Professional or college diploma in relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the industrial sector.
• Training in electromechanics – major asset .
• Class 3 driver’s license – an asset.
• Versatility: interest in several trades including mechanics and piping.
• Operating knowledge of English.
• Teamwork oriented with an interest in outside work.
