Initial Assignment: The Educational Assistant will work in various classrooms at schools throughout the Division, on an as needed basis.Qualifications & Experience: Educational Assistant or Early Childhood Diploma or Certificate is required. Experience working with students with challenging behaviours and applying positive behaviour supports and formal training in areas such as autism or behaviours is an asset. CPR and First Aid along with Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training is preferred.Hourly Rate: $17.87 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.ABOUT STURGEON PUBLIC SCHOOLSSturgeon Public Schools prides itself on doing things a little differently.
