Our facility is located approximately 12 km north of Redwater or a 45-minute drive from north Edmonton.We Offer· Competitive wages· Overtime· Annual boot allowance· Travel allowance (dependent on location, and in accordance with company policy)· Night shift premiums· Health Care Spending Account· Opportunities for growth within the companyDuties and Responsibilities· Collect samples to meet API and ASTM standards from the plant, pit and piles· Complete Sieve, color and proppant testing as per API and ASTM standards· Complete testing with the Laser Diffraction machine on Silica Flour samples· Complete data entry of test results and send to all appropriate parties· Clean and maintain all lab equipment· General housekeeping in the lab· Keep immediate supervisor fully informed of all issues or matters requiring his/her attention· Work all assigned shifts from scheduled start time to scheduled end time· Participate in all required Company meetings· Other duties as assignedEducation & Training: · Possess a high school diploma or GED· Valid Class 5 Drivers’ License· Geotechnical technology diploma would be considered an assetTeamwork· Participate as vital team member, and contribute towards the success of the organizations which may involve the provision of other technical and administrative support, as required· Promote a team approach and maintain a dialogue with all employees to exchange information and gather innovative ideas· Collaborate with any project teams on other special initiativesCustomer Service· Approach all encounters in a friendly, service-oriented manner.· Project a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, positive attitude that encourages customer confidence and reflects a professional image.· Solutions-focused when approached with concerns from the general public or suggestions to co-workers.Experience:· Previous field experience in mine driving would be considered an asset· Previous experience in a construction setting working around heavy equipment would be considered an assetPre-Employment Screening· Drug and Alcohol testing· Spirometry· Audiometry· Mask Fit· Criminal Record Check· Clean/Acceptable Driver AbstractJob Types: Full-time, PermanentJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $27.00 per hourBenefits:
