Looking for an outstanding career opportunityAn-Mar Concrete Pumping is looking to add an operator to our team for the rest of the busy 2022 season. We are proud to offer extensive benefits, competitive wages, and overtime after 8 hours a day (as well as 40 hours guaranteed in the winter)Our current opening is on a 32ZZ or a 41m roll/fold, however big boom experience is also an asset)Most of our work is local to the Edmonton area, with pumps based out of Morinville.This is a year round position for the right candidate as there is ample work in the shop during the winter season.the ideal concrete pump operator candidate will be responsible for:-operating the concrete pump in a safe and reliable manner-continuously showing the utmost regard for the safety of themselves and all others around them-evaluating ground/slope conditions and safely sets outriggers/dunnage up accordingly-safely driving to/from site, and adhering to all road/ site rules while driving-properly washing out the hopper/pump system after every job-keeping they’re pipe, hoses, clamps, etc. clean at all times-conducting routine maintenance and repairs to pump accordingly in the shop-communicating effectively with on-site personnel in a calm, proffesional manner as a representative of the company-continuously be willing to learn and excel in there job performance as a concrete pump operator-preforming various other duties (shop work, housekeeping, deliveries, etc.) as required by the companyJob requirements:-experience is definitely an asset , however we are willing to train the right candidate-legally eligible to work in Canada-18 years of age or older-class 3 licence is preffered-ability to lift objects exceeding 50 lbs-basic mechanical knowledge-willingness to work extended/ variable hours, especially during the peak summer season-must have proper PPE (hard hat, steel toed boots, hi-vis vest)-detail oriented with attention to cleanliness/ care of equipment-knowledge of Edmonton area truck routes/ roads is an asset-safety tickets are also an asset (WHMIS, CSTS, H2S, first aid, etc.)Due to the high number of resumes received, only those selected for an interview will be contactedJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $30.00-$40.00 per hourBenefits:
