RepostAdministrative Coordinator - DELF(Term Assignment)Location: Program and Learning, 133 Greenbank RoadNature of Position: Full-time (100%); 10 month work year; Term until June 29, 2023Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per weekSalary range: ESP, Level 7 - $26.81 to $34.60Reporting to the System Principal, Program and Learning (DELF Lead), the DELF Administrative Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the administration of the Grade 12 French proficiency test, including communications, scheduling, database and spreadsheet management, and materials production. This position liaises with internal and external clients to maximize and facilitate participation of eligible students over the course of the year. Ability to use Excel (advanced features) is an important function of the job.Candidate Profile:2 year Office Administration Program, and 4 yrs experience working in an office environment with advanced computer skills.Must be fluent in both English and French.Experience using on-line scheduler or similar application.Advanced skills (e.g., use of pivot tables, vlookup, functions etc.) in the use of spreadsheets, databases, and other systems, including the ability to manipulate multiple databases, create mail merges and manage an on-line scheduling system.Communications skills including oral and written fluency in English and French, required in order to provide and clarify information to internal and external clients (including parents, teachers, students, etc) on testing requirements and the registration process.Excellent organization skills and high coordination skills required to manage registration process and large volume of candidates for DELF testing, including arranging for assessors, confirming candidates for testing dates/times; and ensuring sufficient space at the testing sites.Must be able to adapt to changes in schedules, and is flexible during peak testing periods (ie. overtime may be required).ApplicationProcess:Applications will beconsidered in accordance with the ESP Collective Agreement.The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board uses Apply to Education (ATE) to manage applications for job competitions.
