Job Description

Join the team at Ottawas 1st Euro-Asian Café. DAO is seeking Full and Part Time (mimimum 25+ hours, 4 days/week) Baristas to join our team and help in delivering the absolute best customer experience. This is the perfect position for individuals with:

  • Friendly and personable team player.
  • A passion for coffee and food.
  • A dynamic and hard working individual with a willingness to learn.
  • Pleasant, team and customer focused communicator.
  • Ability to work and excel in a fast paced environment.
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include days, nights, weekends and holiday hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous Barista and customer service experience (minimum 1 year)
  • Ability to operate a manual espresso machine. We do not use automated systems.
  • Safe food handling certificate
  • Knowledge and love of coffee and tea
