  • partners with the classroom teachers(s) to plan and implement a full day early learning program;
  • collaborates in the design of high quality and effective play-based programs and environments;
  • supports enhanced physical, cognitive, emotional and social development within the context of a Catholic learning environment, as part of the Early Learning program team.
Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
  • an Early Childhood Education diploma or degree;
  • registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Education;
  • recent experience with kindergarten age children preferred;
  • current First Aid and CPR certification.
In addition, the following will be considered an asset:
  • minimum two years experience
  • bilingualism
  • experience working in a school setting
Status: Casual Early Childhood Educators must be available to work on call during regular school hours at various school locations.These are casual positions with an hourly rate of $21.86 plus 4% in lieu of vacation.How to applyAll applications for our Supply Early Childhood Educator(s) must be submitted through Apply to Education.
