This position requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week.Your role:

  • Provide both customers and employees with comprehensive information on electrical-related merchandise
  • Assist customers in assembling, cutting, selecting, and loading merchandise Training associates in the department
  • Promote Lowe’s Canada services and maximize potential sales by explaining features, creating quotes, and selling installations
  • Manage inventory levels and pricing documentation to support sales
  • Ensure products are stocked and displayed according to standards
  • Follow up with customers and vendors based on jobs and materials sold to ensure all project requirements are satisfied
  • Pull merchandise for internet orders
  • Maintain the safety and security of the store
  • Complete all other duties as assigned
The qualifications we are looking for:
  • At least 1year of experience selling electrical supplies, OR 2 years of experience working as an electrician in industry, OR 2 years’ schooling in the field (such as trade or vocational school)
  • At least 1 year of experience working with contractors in a sales role or in the field
  • At least 6 months of retail sales experience
  • Licence or certification as an electrician
