We provide professional services based on technological expertise, interactive project management, a wealth of local knowledge, and creative solutions.Responsibilities: The Ottawa Office of Paterson Group is seeking a proactive and self-motivated team player to provide dispatch/coordinating duties for to the Materials Testing and Inspection Department for a Full-Time Position. The duties will include, but not be limited to:· Answer and prioritize client phone calls and emails for the various inspection work that Paterson completes;· Handle high volume of calls and emails throughout the day;· Ensure client follow up is done when necessary;· Coordinator/Organize all requested site inspection work amongst the field staff members;· Provide records management support for the field staff;· Read, sort and print emails in a timely manner;· Prioritize workload by date, task and cut-off times;· Work in Filemaker software, Microsoft Outlook and Excel;· Filing and archiving documents;· Work well with existing team members;Job Requirements: The successful candidate will be relied upon to deliver administrative support to various professionals and administrative staff. A motivation to provide high quality customer service is essential to the role. In addition, the candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:· 0 to 2 years of experience providing administrative support in a professional office environment;· Graduate of business administration college or university preferred;· Spoken and written English, Bilingual in French would be an asset;· Construction Knowledge would be a great asset;· Ability to multi-task;· Ability to work in a face paced environment;· Experience handling Team player with flexible, can-do attitude;· Willingness to learn and implement systems;· Attention to detail and ownership of delegated tasks;· Excellent organizational skills (record keeping, time management, follow up);· Good communication skills (listening, speaking and writing), friendly and pleasant manner;· The ability to take directions and seek clarification as needed;· Good problem-solving skills with the initiative and ability to identify alternative solutions;Additional Information· Opportunity for a rewarding career at a highly successful consulting firm.· Only candidates to be interviewed will be contacted.· The qualified candidate must reside in the Ottawa/Gatineau surrounding area.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $21.00-$23.00 per hourAdditional pay:
