Job Description

This internship job opportunity is for International Medical Graduates who have successfully passed MCCQE-1.Please submit an updated resume.Job descriptionNOTE: Not answering the screening questions will automatically result in disqualification from the selection process.Job SummaryPart-time International Medical Graduate needed for Family Medicine clinic in Ottawa (Nepean area) to start immediately.Skills & Qualifications

  • Have passed MCCQE-1
  • In the process of getting MCCQE-2 exams.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems (Electronic Medical Records) and experience as Medical Assistant.
  • Ability to deal with patients.
  • Ability to follow procedures and processes.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the medical field.
Responsibilities (may include but not limited to):
  • Assisting Physician in exam rooms.
  • Greeting patients
  • Booking appointments
  • Registering patients on the EMR system
  • Monitoring incoming documents/e-faxes/e-mails
  • Maintaining Doctors schedule
  • Handling correspondence between family physicians, specialists and patients
  • Enhancing practice reputation by maintaining a safe and professional environment at all times
Hours of workTuesday 9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.mWednesday 9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.mFriday 9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.mSaturday 9:00 a.m - 1:00 p.mPlease submit an updated resume.NOTE: Not answering the screening questions will automatically result in disqualification from the selection process.Job Types: Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 16 per weekSalary: $15.50 per hourSchedule:
