Our Housekeeping team makes our hotels feel like home. As a Laundry Host, your contribution helps ensure guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay.What will I be doingAs a Laundry Host, you would be responsible for cleaning room linens and terry and responding to guest requests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Clean and fold including, but not limited to, bed linens, towels, ragsLoad all soiled laundry into washer.Remove wet, clean items and load into dryer as directedStrip and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as neededPerform deep cleaning tasks, as neededStock, maintain and transport housekeeping supplies on a daily basisMonitor cleanliness and condition of all laundry equipment and communicate deficiencies to their supervisor.Dispose of trash and recyclablesRespond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient mannerREQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIESPrior Cleaning ExperienceCustomer Service Experience (in a hotel is preferred)Ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight (min 20lbs)Ability to learn quickly and satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced position with guest interactionAbility to maintain a clean and organized work environmentAbility to communicate in EnglishNOTE:This description excludes non-essential and marginal functions of the position that are incidental to the performance of the fundamental job duties.
